    March and April are traditionally big snow months. And then you also get the nice sunny days in between, so spring skiing is my favorite time of the year to ski, and hopefully folks take advantage of it.

    I want to eventually attend college and study sports medicine, but first I'm going to take a year off and just concentrate on skiing. My goal is to become a member of the U.S. Ski Team and it'll be nice to not have to worry about school for awhile.

    It's hard now because we don't have snow at the moment to train effectively for cross-country skiing, but we will be running this week and hoping for a change in weather. But the weather isn't hurting just us as almost none of the teams have snow for training, so it's a tough situation right now.



    How can the university honor me for accomplishments in an endeavor which they clearly do not respect If the opportunity for greatness had not been provided to me I could not have achieved my dreams.     The Turin Olympics made us further realize that to develop winter sports is a long-drawn and arduous task.     Slalom skiing is going really well so it made up for my downhill. I have a lot of confidence in my slalom. I trust my skis, trust myself and it's showing in my races. I skied aggressive in the slalom, taking chances and I was really fast so I'm happy about today.
