Quotes about picturing (16 Quotes)

I keep picturing all these little kids playing some game in this big field of rye and all… I'm standing on the edge of some crazy cliff. What I have to do, I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff - I mean if they're running and they don't look where they're going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That's all I do all day. I'd just be the catcher in the rye

As far as informing the headmaster, Harry had no idea where Dumbledore went during the summer holidays. Thou who didst waken from his summer dreams The blue Mediterranean, where he lay, Lull'd by the coil of his crystalline streams Beside a pumice isle in Bai's bay, And saw in sleep old palaces and towers Quivering within the wave's intenser day, All overgrown with azure moss and flowers So sweet, the sense faints picturing them.

My inspiration for putting this initiative together came while looking at a postcard picturing a California vintner in a bubble bath enjoying a glass of wine. As I have had dear friends and patients who suffered with this disease, it struck me that a calendar of this kind, including a woman in a bathtub enjoying a glass of champagne, could be a wonderful way to raise money for breast cancer awareness.

The entrepreneur was another type likely to make - and sometimes lose and remake - those millions. They are people who just love work, and have a hard time picturing retirement at all.

Don't get me wrong, ... I was going to pass him if I could. But you have a lot of time to think around here and I was just picturing him buckled down in that race car giving it all he's got, just thinking about him winning. I'm probably as happy as he is that he won today.

Islam makes very large claims for itself. In its art, there is a prejudice against representing the human form at all. The prohibition on picturing the prophet who was only another male mammal is apparently absolute. So is the prohibition on pork or alcohol or, in some Muslim societies, music or dancing. Many of those experiences I've heard, many of them I can only dream about. . . . To think of that chaos and the way in which people died and the way in which people potentially are still dying, I allowed myself to really think of that and to weep for them this morning.
