    That was one of the best offensive lines I've been around. Does the O-line make the running backs look good, or is it the running backs who make the O-line look good

    The biggest concern I have right now is the numbers on our o-line and d-line. We're so short that most of those guys are taking every rep and they're kind of getting beat up a little bit.

    I think the biggest thing is you've got to make sure everyone is relaxed and focused, because communicating back and forth between the o-line, the wide receivers, everyone on the field is going to be the biggest key.     We expected that coming in, because we wanted to establish a physical presence on the O-line. To tell you the truth, I really don't care as long as we win. It's not high school anymore where you're looking to put up stats. We're all about the W.


    Their O-line is probably the biggest we'll see all year. Their skill guys can move, ... They're going to present a challenge but hopefully we can step up to it and answer the call.

    I knew Willis would (respond) because he's a prideful guy, ... We talked earlier in the week when we watched the tape. Again, sometimes it's a matter of learning from experience, and it was evident that he was hitting up things strong. We were making yards the pile, the line of scrimmage with our O-line and him, was moving.

    They put a real physical front up there with backers stacked in the box and we were still able to establish our fullback for the whole game, ... When our O-line does their job and Paul (Rios) does his, that really opens up our play-action pass for big plays. And Bennett on the outside -- he does a special job out there.

    This is going to be a good challenge. They're pretty solid. They're solid up front with the O-line and D-line and they don't make a lot of mistakes. The kids are excited about playing this game and they're excited about playing on turf. We have good speed, so hopefully we can take advantage of that.

    We were executing on offence. The O-line was giving the protection the receivers were getting open. All I had to do was put the ball in the receivers' hands. We had a good game plan and it definitely worked for us.


    We're trying to get healthy. We had a couple starters out for the Southwest game, and a couple people that hadn't practiced. P.J. Gardner missed the game against Southwest, but he'll be back on the O-line. We're working on basic stuff, not looking to change much, just looking to continue to improve.
