He's done everything. He brings age, wisdom, confidence. He played lights out last week.

It's awesome. It's good for the fans and players. When you win at home, everything is better. Your kids behave better, you love your wife more and even the food tastes better.

Jeff's right. Not finishing off our drives was definitely part of what hurt us Sunday. We'd get stuff going, then we'd commit a turnover or penalty or have another kind of mistake and that would kill it. If we want to get better, we've got to clean that stuff up.

I have obvious pain in the neck, but it's nothing serious. The good news is that it can't get any worse. We're just rehabbing and taking it day-by-day. We'll see how it goes.

It's not for the players to decide what plays should be called. Our job simply is to run the plays that are sent in. But I will tell you this, as I've said all along, the bottom line with me is that I want to win. I don't care if the offense gets shut out and the defense has to score all the points in the game. I just want to win. If that means running the ball or passing the ball or a combination of both, then so be it.

We have experienced guys at every position on the line and it shows, ... Even when something goes wrong, the backs and quarterback make adjustments. It's something we haven't had here in a long time.

He wasn't saying goodbye. He said we were going forward, and he was going to improve the team.

I'm trying to forget about the past, the beginning of the season. I'm just starting at each week and I was going to wait until we got that first win to start my new season.

Not to take away anything from those other guys. But bringing in a veteran like Trent was huge. Young players watch his work ethic. From Day One, he has taken command and embraced the leadership role on and off the field. A lot of young guys can see than and take a lot from it.

I thought he ran hard. A lot of the stuff that he did was stuff we hadn't even seen in practice. I can't say enough about that guy. He's a great addition to this team.

It has made me sick. Losing stinks worse than anything, man. I'm tired of it.

I love Will. He's got a great work ethic. It just seems like he's had a black cloud over his head. But he has moved on. I'm glad he's here. Look at him. He looks like a beast right now.

But like I said, we've got to find a way to finish drives. I don't know if it's attitude or technique that allows you to get it done, but we've got to do it.
