Most senior management do not even know if their employees actually understand what they should be doing,

We were pretty pleased with the day. Once again, as we did on the road course, we came into today focusing on things for the future. We didn't get into the drafting game too much to post a great speed. We worked on a lot of bigger items on the car and learned a lot. I think we have a pretty good racecar right now. I'm sure we could go faster if we need to, but I think we got our job done.

It's a neat series and a pretty even playing field because the crews don't have a lot of time to reinvent the wheel. The cars are a little tail-happy and there are varying levels of (driver) talent, so it makes it exciting for the fans to watch.

Danica's bringing in a different viewer. If the ratings continue to be up and the attention strong, I don't see how it won't keep growing.

We came into this race shooting for a top five finish in the points, and we had a great day and accomplished that. The guys gave me some great pit stops today like they have all year. That has been a real strength for us. Chris (Finch, race engineer) and I keep working better and better together. I think we maximized everything we had on our car. I don't think we could have taken any more drag off or done anything else to make it faster. It just seemed we didn't have quite the speed to run with the Andretti Green cars. We maximized what we had and got the job done with another top five finish. It was a really great year for the entire team. These guys just don't stop. My hat's off to J.D. (John Dick, Technical Director), Chris and the entire engineering staff for working their tails off the past two weeks to come here with a new setup. This is the best we have run on a big track. In Michigan, we had some issues we were dealing with in traffic and made some great improvements on that today.

If management cannot identify what their employees do and do not know, how can they support them to do their job effectively

We had a couple really tough seasons, ... Unfortunately for everyone, things went spiraling in the wrong direction. As stronger teams came in with better technology, we became less and less competitive.

I saw the green car go big-time up in the air, and I went, 'Whoa

Businesses have not been able to identify employees who know what they are doing and have confidence to apply what they understand,

multi-pack running, there were times when the car was really good and I charged into the top five, but it just wouldn't last for long and would go off.

It was a really good day. The road courses are an area we needed to improve on. John Dick and the Delphi squad really worked hard. We came here with the thought process that we don't race here, so being fast on the speed chart here really isn't that important, but let's throw different things at that car that may not even help the car here but give us good information for the other tracks. To be pretty competitive and still feel like we learned a lot, we're really pleased.

It's just his year. Things are going really great for him. Dan's certainly won outright his fair share of races this year, but I think he's also been fortunate along the way as well. It just seems like he's putting one of those championship years together.

I was forced to go around the outside of the kink in Turn 4 because a slow (Daytona) Prototype car was on the inside of the track. The front splitter just dug into one of those and it ripped the front clip of the car off.

I was very appreciative. Sometimes when things go bad with one team, people start pointing fingers. It's this guy's fault, or that guy's, ... But they believed in me.

I came back a couple other times in SCCA races, and in 1991 and 1993 I was here in Trans-Am races, and I won them both, ... But those races I won were in more of a sedan-type car. I have great memories of this track.

It's pretty obvious that Andretti Green Racing is a real switched-on program. Having four drivers is that much more information they can all share. Testing is so limited in the IRL ... anytime you can learn from three different drivers, it's an advantage.

Danica helps all of us. People may come out to see her but then see someone else win and become their fan.

This was a good barometer for us. Pella shoots the ball a lot better than it shot (Tuesday) too, and I'd like to think our defense had a little bit to do with that. They missed a few shots inside and they have a tendency to snowball on you.
