Four hundred wickets is 400 more than I thought I'd get.

Again it was a story of not enough runs. We played pretty well to get to 100-1 but then did what we tend to do and lost wickets. It might have been closer in UK conditions but we want to be a side that can adapt.
In my first season I took 76 wickets at an average of less than 5 runs.
Wickets are like wives. You never know what to expect from them.
I'm not totally happy with our score, we're probably 20-30 runs short but having said that I think we have enough on the board and I think we have the firepower in our bowling attack to get us early wickets and to put them under pressure very early and try and stymie them right to the end.
The thing that disappoints me most is a lot of wickets around Australia are losing their character. It would be disappointing if all wickets around Australia are identical.
To make a century against Australia under any circumstances is always special. It will be hard work but there is definitely ten Australian wickets for us.
My life was falling apart and then to come out and play and have my best ever - 40 wickets, 250 runs... But the only reason I could do that was because of the way I thought and I think I'm pretty strong mentally. I think I am anyway, pretty strong to get over whatever it is.
The wickets I have played on for my whole career, most of them have been to suit fast bowlers in Australia.
Both wickets can take a little bit of turn, particularly Adelaide, having had such a dry summer. The ball may turn a little bit more there, and the (shorter) square of the wicket boundaries also probably suit a few of our batsmen. But we are still going to have to play our best cricket to stretch Australia to the limit. We did that well in Sydney and we know going into the finals series that's the game we have to play.
But Western Australia battled back in the final session, taking four wickets, including two important late strikes from Brett Dorey after Victoria had seemed to be cruising at 2 for 79. We're in a pretty good position, ... We've still got six wickets in the shed and less than a hundred to score and one of the wickets to fall was a nightwatchman. We've still got some good batsmen and we'll be looking to be positive in the morning.
He's one of the few spinners in England who is not a containing spinner and he is able to take wickets. He is a player of immense ability and for the latter part of last season was the best spinner in the country. He's very tall and he gets good bounce and turn.
We need to peg Australia back and get a couple of quick wickets early on and take it from there.
Glenn's absence has thrown the attack a bit, but with Brett taking wickets early on with the new ball and Nathan Bracken and Stuart Clark stepping in and stepping up, I couldn't be much happier.
We do think we might play on some spinner-friendly pitches, especially because of our attack. We will just have to come up with our best formula to get 20 wickets to put India under pressure.
I just play because I love playing and I try and take as many wickets as I can.
