    It's anybody's tournament to win. Tournament play is so different from regular-season play. There are so many dynamics at work consistency, fatigue, pitching. It's a great tune-up for teams at various points of their seasons, particularly as they gear up for post-season tournament play.

    These kinds of services are really important because they serve a purpose with customer loyalty, and maintaining that relationship beyond the warranty period. But also, the tune-up covers areas that are also cost drivers for warranty.

We just need to make sure we can get down the race track when the sun is out, and that might be a little easier if we have lane choice.

    Manny has fought Marco Antonio Barrera, Juan Manuel Marquez and Erik Morales in his last (four) fights. He's been in tough fight after tough fight, he's been taking on the best fighters of the era and I don't believe that a fighter needs to be a life-and-death fight every time. In this case Manny's coming off a real war with Morales and this is a tune-up fight for the next war with Morales.

    The tune-up was good, the track is good, and the air is good, that's what it takes. If you want to win a bunch of championships you have to stay ahead of the curve. We started working on this stuff a year ago and it bit us but now the work is paying off and all three cars are running good.


    Things are going in the right direction for us right now. This is our last big tune-up before district February 3 at Lumberton, which has been the district champs for the past 10 years.

    Mark (Simpson) would have loved this tournament, because this separates the men from the boys. It was the perfect example of college kids playing a course they shouldn't have way too aggressive, and it gives you a true test of where you're at. The course next week (Southern Hills) is a little harder than this one, so it was the perfect tune-up. I just wish we could have played better while many other teams are saying that too, we certainly know we could have.

    A lot of teams were using this as a tune-up for state and district, but we were putting pressure on the kids to perform, perform, perform. Everybody kept a good attitude and I was happy with how they responded.
