Quotes about micah (12 Quotes)

As a youngster he was very average at best. He hardly played in middle school. But through hard work and dedication, Micah made himself into a player.

You'd have to ask Micah. He told us he couldn't play. The only reason he suited up was he didn't have proper street clothes to wear that day.

What Micah and I visited about should stay between Micah and myself. What he said was consistent with his statements last week (about personal reasons to play closer to home).

But in a way, it's kind of disappointing, too, now that we've played, because we defended well and got good goalkeeping (11 saves from Micah Lamb) and knocked the ball around pretty well at times. Two guys he spoke to long before he committed to us and he kind of wanted to see if they would join him at Kentucky were Josh Minton and Corey Peters, and darned if they're not all here.

It's unfortunate that Micah's tenure as a Kansas basketball player only lasted one semester. Micah has decided to go home to resolve some personal issues.

Orlando came up with a big sack and had been consistent all night in making plays. Of course Micah played pretty well on defense and had some big runs. He capped it with the last run of the game and that was important.

The thing is, Micah Downs, hopefully after today, will not warrant any of our thought process over the next couple months. Our focus needs to be on this team. Obviously, he chose not to be part of it. This is not something that we have enjoyed dealing with at all, and this chapter is closed.
