nothing some much as burgundy bouquets
clusters of the rhododendrons
like the bows put on the paper plates
at the bridal showers
round ball of burgundy trumpets
eager for the bees
brilliant in the late afternoon sun
calling me and my camera
to linger and shoot
picture after picture
