    I'm pretty ecstatic about it. It helped having some bigger schools there for competition, and Regina played really well, too. It was a perfect day for golf, though that tournament is notorious for bad weather. The course really played well for them -- flat and open. They're used to a tight course at Macbride.

They don't want 10 under to win their tournament, and that's just the philosophy that they've had forever. Maybe this will be something they can re-evaluate.


    Tiger is not playing as well as he did then. Guys like Vijay, Phil (Mickelson), Davis (Love) and me have elevated a little bit, and the gap has closed a bit. I think guys get to the first tee and really believe they can win with Tiger in the field. Golf will humble the best of them and that's where we are.

    I knew today I could shoot myself out of the tournament and I didn't want to do that. I wanted to play consistent, steady golf. I've been doing that now for six rounds of golf going back to The Open, and in truth I'm looking forward to continuing it on.
