The night you're not, you're the backup. I don't think a lot about it. You could be the starter to start the season and then two games into the season you find yourself on the bench and vice versa.

    Comfort, that's probably the wrong word. I think the past two games maybe we have been a little too comfortable. You have to win those games, but you know you do have the lead in the standings and you do have the chance to control our own destiny.     We want to feel that the goaltending is the kind of goaltending that a team like ours needs to be successful. I think that's the goal to make the goaltending never be an issue. The only way to do that is for both of us to be consistent and to provide the team with the type of play that gives us a chance to win every night.

    There's room for one guy in the net at a time, and you want to be the guy. I want to be the guy, but if I'm not playing, I know I have another kind of role that I have to perform to contribute to the team.

    It helps to be a veteran when things go like that. Obviously it's not the first time in my career that I've had to deal with some of that stuff. I think you realize it makes you stronger and you try to stay with it. Every day is a new opportunity.

    I thought they took some funny-angle shots in the beginning, trying to catch me. But the rebounds just bounced out from those angles and you're going to give up some rebounds, but our defense was right there to clear them away.
