    I was really concerned about this game going in because of (Limestone) beating us here last year. That was one of our goals over the year, that Limestone not beat us again at home.

    People have looked at our size all season and wonder how we got here and how we won 28 games. We're not going to look good in an airport. One coach called us the best below the rim team he'd ever seen, so I guess we're not all that athletic.

    That's three games in a row that he's played really unselfish, hard-nosed basketball.

    I just felt like we didn't play as a team. It was a very disappointing loss. I don't want to take anything away from Limestone because they're a team that can beat anybody in our league on any given night. But certainly it's discouraging to me because we'd hoped we'd go down there and get a victory for Barton College.

    People don't understand what this is like. We played Thursday at Belmont Abbey and got back at 230 in the morning. Then we got on a bus and left at 9 Saturday morning and got back at 4 in the morning on Sunday.

    Being there was some of the best years of my life. Me and my wife had some of the fondest memories during our time there.

    What is key in this business is what are you going to do tomorrow I hope we will have grown and will handle success much better.

    I think he's having an outstanding season. He came back to Barton a lot better basketball player. He had a good year for us last year, but, now, he's having a great year. He's making great strides, and it's showing.

    He was a warrior tonight he gave it everything he had. His body was cramping from the first 10 minutes of the game and he found a way to fight through it. He threw his heart and soul out there for Barton tonight.

    We got a lead and got complacent and didn't finish the game. My bench was lackadaisical, my team was lackadaisical and we're happy to end with a victory but we'd like to do it without letting them come back.

    They have athletes, they have shooters, they play really smart basketball, they take good shots and they defend hard. I'm really counting on (our) guys to get plenty of rest.

    The thing that we did well was make the extra pass. I thought we were crisp. We really had great ball movement and penetrated their zone well. We took two steps forward in those areas.
