Exposed populations have anxiety levels that were twice as high as controls and they were 3-4 times more likely to report multiple unexplained physical symptoms and subjective poor health than were unaffected control groups.
While scientists used to think that effects of climate change on health would be evident a long time from now, research shows some effects are visible now.
Now we know that these small particles are really dangerous, so we need to adapt to that new knowledge.
Overall mental health problems manifest as negative self-assessment of health, belief in a shortened life expectancy, lack of initiative, and dependency on assistance from the state.
