West Bridgewater's decision to offer school choice coincided with our budget issues, and people saw it as an opportunity. We had lost a little over 100 staff in three years.
It's hard to believe that Congress could see more tax cuts for the rich as a priority.
It raised a lot of money at a time when we were having very high oil company profits - it worked. In many ways we're in a similar situation today. It might be a good idea again.
