It is coming. A vast war. A war no citizen of any country can stop, except those who are supposed to represent citizens. It will be war to buttress the next few hundred years of nation-state politics it is a defining moment in world history. It has been boiling for millenia, simmering for the last few generations, and shall be a meal for the masses who have t. v. or who experience causalities. It is the only avenue left for peace. Who is to say that a multi-nation state war based on economics, religion and politics is a bad thing It could lead to the destruction of those conditions that created such misery and death. It could lead to humanity. But then again, should humanity be a growing process are we still infantile Maybe every soldier who serves in the name of their country is a modern day Christ. Perhaps we have replaced Christ, an individual who sacrificed for the sake of humanity, for those individuals who fight for a nation-state. It is a degredation of ideals. Perhaps people are too colored by their immediate culture and responsibilities to notice the suffering of humanity. Perhaps they're not allowed to care. Perhaps there's not enough time to make an effort to care. But who needs wisdom or hope when war is the answer and motivation to peace. Individuals have allowed their power to be consolidated into a handful of humans who manipulate perception for their own individual ends. Is it those few who bear responsibility Or is it just foolish to believe that one human can represent another Is the upcoming war good to find the solution for humanity or is it just another folly of a stupid species What is the solution What is the end to all this silliness.

Through establishing national guidelines for federal funding, we can help move this research forward while ensuring that it is preformed in an ethically sound manner.

I would never think of doing a movie for children if I did not have any, ... A lot of things in the film I know about. I relate to all the sufferings much more now that I have kids. I see it from the outside now. And before, I didn't. Children have this capacity for resistance, and they accept things as they are, maybe because they have no other reference. They are somehow more flexible they adapt much faster than adults.

It's the will of Allah. These beliefs are nothing but abject fatalism, and they would devastate the social gains this nation has made if they were ever put into practice.

Soul Gathers Force It is possible, when the future is dim, when our depressed faculties can form no bright ideas of the perfection and happiness of a better world,it is possible still to cling to the conviction of Gods merciful purpose towards His creatures, of His parental goodness even in suffering, still to feel that the path of duty, though trodden with a heavy heart, leads to peace still to be true to conscience still to do our work, to resist temptation, to be useful, though with diminished energy, to give up our wills when we cannot rejoice under Gods mysterious providence. In this patient, though uncheered obedience, we become prepared for light. The soul gathers force.

But everything that may some day be possible to many the solitary man can now prepare and build with his hands, that err less. Therefore, dear sir, love your solitude and bear with sweet-sounding lamentation the suffering it causes you. And when what is near you is far, then your distance is already among the stars and very large rejoice in your growth, in which you naturally can take no one with you, and be kind to those who remain behind, and be sure and calm before them and do not torment them with your doubts and do not frighten them with your confidence or joy, which they could not understand. Seek yourself some sort of simple and loyal community with them, which need not necessarily change as you yourself become different and again different love in them life in an unfamiliar form and be considerate of aging people, who fear that being-alone in which you trust.

Thus you can throw yourself flat on the ground, stretched out upon Mother Earth, with the certain conviction that you are one with her and she with you. You are as firmly established, as invulnerable as she, indeed a thousand times firmer and more invulnerable. As surely as she will engulf you tomorrow, so surely will she bring you forth anew to the new striving and suffering. And not merely 'some day.' Now, today, every day she is bringing you forth, not once but thousands upon thousands of times, just as every day she engulfs you a thousand times over.

There is a marvelous story of a man who once stood before God, his heart breaking from the pain and injustice in the world. 'Dear God.' he cried out, 'look at all the suffering, the anguish and distress in your world. Why don't you send help' God responded,'I did send help. I sent you.' When we tell our children that story, we must tell them that each one of them was sent to help repair the broken worldand that it is not the task of an instant or of a year, but of a lifetime.

For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again when he suffered, he threatened not but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness by whose stripes ye were healed.
