It was unexpected. That's just how it was. I don't believe they were faster than us. I don't believe they had more heart or dedication. It just fell on their side. That's the reality of it.

For me, it's one win. We've still got unfinished business.
I was just happy that we kept on going, that we didn't give up.
People have started to jump on the bandwagon. (But) we don't look at the glamour of it. We look at the part of how it helps the program.
It was a relief more than anything, because we won't have to talk about it anymore. The kids were all thrilled and excited just to get the win. The shutout was icing on the cake.
When we came over the (U.S. Route 136) bridge, there were about 40 cars and a police escort waiting for us. We took a victory lap around town. It was like a carnival. The kids needed the win, and the town needed the win.
