We had no execution in the fourth and that really hurt us. That's a championship team, and they played like it.

Our team did a great job of hanging around until the last minute so when we had to make a 3, we'd be in the game still,

I'm not worried about the competition out there. I wish the best for everybody. Obviously, there are a lot of guards out there. We'll see what happens. I feel like I'm one of the ones that's up there.

I like our future. I like the potential. It's going to be great, ... I want to stay humble, continue to work hard at practice ... staying together in tough times and tonight was the test of tough times, and we passed the test tonight.

It was (a key sequence). I had a good look I missed it.

I missed a lot of easy shots. No disrespect to their defense. I knew it would be geared toward me, but I missed a lot of shots I would normally make.

To average 30 against Detroit, that's a slap in their face. They're not going to take that.

He (Mason) wants to be with a winner, not to discredit New Orleans. He did so much for the organization, and we're going to miss him, but at the same time we're going to welcome Jamaal in.

In my heart of hearts, I wanted to come back here in Milwaukee. Obviously I went to Cleveland to visit. It just didn't sit right. I had to do that it also was in my heart. But eventually staying here in Milwaukee was the one thing I wanted to do.

Mo is big, Charlie (Bell) is big and Joe is big. To have all three of them healthy at the same time, with the core group we have, is going to take a lot of pressure off all of us.

We were determined to start off well. Loved it. We need that every night.

It's a serious time, and you've got to focus. But be loose and have fun. You're not going to play well when you're tight and the pressure's on.

We can beat anybody. It's just a matter of how we're going to play that night. We've got to come in with the confidence we can beat this team. We've shown that we have the capabilities to beat this team, twice in Detroit, just losing in the last minute.

Obviously our talent pool has picked up from a year ago. We got more talent this year. Nothing against last year's team but ya know certain guys came to the team and now we got the pieces where we can make a run.

I knew it was going to happen. They did a great job having two or three guys around me all night and it was very difficult to get my shot off. They really were just concentrating on shutting me down tonight.

I was encouraged by the wins against Atlanta and Denver. And even when we lost against Phoenix, I thought that we played as well as we could. (Against New York), for some reason we weren't focused like we need to. We're in the playoff hunt for our lives right now. We have to bring out hard hats Wednesday against a good Sacramento team. We've got to play (well) or we could be out of this.

This is one of the greatest days of my life. To be able to stay where my career began is a blessing. I'm so humbled that Milwaukee would even think of me in this manner.

I've thought of guys, whether they were here last year or not, and doing something special for them.

I'm just trying to encourage everybody. Mike needs your help. I need your guys' help. I don't want it to be a case where you guys just sit around watching me trying to do everything. That's not going to win basketball games, man. And it's going to wear me out.

(Villanueva) played well, (but) anybody can get hot in this league. But we got the win and I'm proud of the way we finished today.

We played well to get the win. This was a weird game. It was a hard grind-it-out type of game. We knew Boston would be eager to come here and ride the momentum of how they won the other night. It was a big win for us.

That's been the one concern for our team - start out better, start out fast.

He was our anchor and played the best game I've seen him play in three years here. If we can get that type of performance every night, we'll be in great shape.

We're going home now and hopefully that will help. It's a different environment. This (The Palace) is a tough place to play. Hopefully we can get home and we will be able to ante-up for Game 3.

We practiced against each other for several years so it was great to see him tonight and get to play against him. He's a great player and great friend.

We were re-evaluating ourselves, that's all. It was a disappointing loss. We beat this team about a month and a half ago, two months ago. ... We played them fairly well through the first half of the game and they blew it open in the second half too much.

I'm just playing basketball, man. I trust the referees to make the right calls. I don't need to cry about it or nothing. That's part of playoff basketball.

I know. I know, and that's not good at all. Sometimes it seems like we play with more fire on the road than we do at home. We have to figure it out at home and get some wins and make this a home-court advantage.

It's been positive. It's been all positive. Yesterday was a great day at practice. Tonight we came out aggressive, and if we can continue to keep playing like this, hopefully we can make a run for that fifth seed.

I never really got into a position to do anything. They always had an extra body around if I ever did get past Rip (Hamilton), which was hard to do in itself. So we have to adjust that.
