    There's no reason, in today's digital world, that we can't have a program here that has students making movies just as well as someone in Los Angeles or New York City. Location means little anymore with digital media. What students need to have are the tools to be competitive in the industry, and the teaching to know how to tell a good story. We can do those things as well as anybody.

    Cultural diversity gives it a flavor not like any other city in the world. But you're also talking about a city built in the middle of swamps.

    What people will see (in the film) is that this is a city that is very important that we salvage. We help that city lift itself up. I cant talk about how significant that is to me, but, also, the world cannot afford to lose that city.
