And after taking a look at the area, I can see that people fishing there could be a real hazard, so they (DOT officials) probably need to post no fishing signs there so that it's a very clear message.

    They stand their ground. They've bucked their leadership before and they don't mind doing it again.

    Clearly, someone throwing a net from the bridge is a hazard, and I urge motorists who see this to call the Florida Highway Patrol or the St. Pete Police if they notice this going on.
