    Cobb pitched a great game. He really pounded the (strike) zone and did it effectively with three pitches. I thought he battled all day long and really did a nice job.

    Greg really battled and made some great pitches to get out of some jams. The bases were loaded against him without the ball leaving the infield and it didn't affect him. He stepped up and showed his maturity and poise as a pitcher.

    As a center fielder, Antone can play with anybody. He gets great jumps and covers a ton of ground out there. It's a luxury for us because we can play him out of position, but he has such great speed he can make up for it.

    He's a very good defensive player. In the cold, he doesn't throw it across as well as he normally does. He just never panics, he's always under control, and he's a very solid defender.

    It allows the ballpark to model itself on what we as a team do best.

    They were hitting line drives and playing at home in front of a nice crowd. You just have to find a way to get the ball on your side. Hopefully we can do that tomorrow.

    We were able to get a lot of guys in and get them playing time. It was great to see those guys come in and play well and I was especially pleased to get Dan in there.

    We made some great defensive plays when it really mattered. You work out of those situations some times and you just start believing its going to happen and tonight it did.

    You can't overlook what Craig did on the mound today. He went out threw very well in some cold conditions, which is not easy to do. He's really been an anchor for us so far this season.

    You give up a solo-shot home run, it doesn't hurt. You give up two-, three-run home runs, it's a big deal.

    I'm really pleased to have him back, and I hope that he's 100 percent healthy. He's such a competitor that he won't always tell you how he feels.

    We feel like we have some power in the middle of our lineup, and pitchers have to expend a lot of energy to get through that middle. We have a nice mixture of speed and power, and we've been able to score some runs. It's been a lot of fun.

    We came out focused and had some really good at bats out of every player today. I thought we hit it hard, which we've been doing but we found the holes today.
