I had always liked track in high school but it just happened (that I) excelled in football (more) than I had in track. I wouldn't say the injury put me on the right track it had me down for awhile because I was enjoying football at the time but I guess things happen for a reason, so who knows. Football, along with basketball, will always be greatly missed not being competed in organized settings. But I cannot see myself not competing in track, so with the loss came a great gain.
