    Every coach likes turnovers because you can get easy baskets. That turned out to be a huge advantage for us tonight. On offense we didn't worry so much about the posts but focused more on shutting down the outside shots.

    We were here last week. I am really proud of this team. We were picked sixth and won the conference. We made it to the finals of the conference tournament. I think habit is a big part of the game. We go through routines as a team. We know the facility. We know the locker rooms better than anyone. We know the altitude.     Courtney Paris has almost a third of their team's rebounds this season and her twin sister, Ashley, has almost another third. We have to do a good job at not giving them second and third shot opportunities.

    Iowa is a very good team. We'll need to play our best basketball. I just hope we can represent our team and our conference well in the tournament.

    I hope they let them play. If they call it close, then I hope they call them on her (Paris) too, because she bodies up and uses her strength to her advantage. But we're going to go through it and make sure our post players know that it's more important for them to be on the floor than sitting next to me.

    We played Colorado State well last time here and we have played well in Fort Collins the last couple years. I think last year was one of our best games we have played there.

    We're very grateful to be here, although I wish we had played better. But you have to give Oklahoma a lot of credit. They're well-coached and well-organized. They know how to spread the floor and get the ball where it needs to be.

    She scored more points in eight minutes than she scored in the first half. That really hurt us.

    You've got to give Iowa a lot of credit, being down and not quitting. I knew they wouldn't quit.

    She's won two state championships (in high school). In those two championships, she made the plays to win the game. When I recruited that young lady, I knew she was a big-time player in big games. She's had a hard freshman year. She got injured and she got sick. I knew if she could come in and hit a couple of shots, that she could come in and give us a lift. That's the kind of player she is. She played one of her best games of the season.


    I think habit is a big part of the game, and we go through all these routines as a team. I think coming back here, we feel like we know this facility. We know the locker rooms probably as good as anybody.
