    I enjoy the times I go to the racetrack to see the horses, but yet I don't have to get up at 430 every morning of the week. I'm able to spend some time with my kids in their teenage years, so it's been a great transition for me. With the way the horses are running, it's been even better. Things have gone really well, so from that standpoint, everybody's happy. Kenny and Bill are real excited about the future. Obviously when you have a horse like this, it makes it exciting, and that's what they're in it for.

    He's not a typical Storm Cat in that he has a great mind. You wouldn't know that he was in the barn until he's around the gate or right after the race. He gets a little pumped up. When Todd ran him the first time and he won, when they got him back to the winner's circle he reared straight up on his hind legs. Johnny actually had to come off of him. They put Johnny back on and he did it again. So now we're pretty cautious because you don't want to get him hurt for something stupid like a photo. But ever since then, he's gotten better.

    I was very disappointed that he got beat the first time, but it was a 4 -furlong race and once he broke badly it was over. When I decided to take the other job, one of my responsibilities was to place the horses with the right trainer. Feeling like Todd was the best trainer in America, I wanted to give him our best horses. That's why Bluegrass Cat went where he did. We felt like he was our best horse.

    In this day and time there's a lot of focus on effort, how much effort to take out of a horse. If they really put in their A-game, how quickly does it take for them to bounce back
