    I had a son who wanted to play college basketball, so this is what we did. We made up a resume sheet that had his picture, academic and athletic information, and then put together a good tape that showed some highlights of his season. After that we picked out 50 or so schools that he was interested in, and then mailed the packets. Then we followed up with phone calls. We ended up getting a great response. He signed with a school in Nebraska (York College) and got to play a few years before hurting his knee.

    That five-point play was huge.. That really hurt us.

    This is a bunch of seniors and juniors. We're not going to be surprised when a game comes down to the final minutes. These girls have been in that position many times.

    Now, when a high school player sends a personal letter, we'll definitely respond to that every time, because they took the time to contact us personally. I think that's probably the way to go.

    It gives each team an opportunity to compete against a team on a high level.


    I just think that's probably the way to go about it instead of spending all that money.

    It's kind of like the Bible, it doesn't matter what decade it's in, what century it's in, the message is still the same.
