We had a big lead and I think we just got content with trying to outscore them and not play defense and get stops. Part of it was me. I missed a lot of shots down the stretch. ... I made those shots at the end but I missed a lot that could have let us keep the lead. I'm disappointed in myself.

I agree with that. We don't want to go in with a big head, but we know what we can do.

I'm still kicking myself because I think for the first time in basketball, I felt sorry for myself. Like, 'Man, I did everything I could to win and then that happened.' It took me a minute to get my engine going. I think Bobby Jones felt the same way. I think Jamaal Williams felt the same way.

I'm just upset and disappointed in myself that I left them hanging for seven minutes (while I was on the bench). I feel like I let the young guys down.

In the first half, I caught myself just running up and down the court thinking too much that this is my last game.

Coach said just push it up the court. Push it and pull it. That's what I did.

I'm excited about it. Besides our home crowd, I've been pretty disappointed everywhere we went. I look forward to it being a high-level, high-energy game. That's part of college basketball. That's part of the experience.

I knew Rogers was a little smaller than me so I knew he couldn't block my shot. It was just a blessing that it went in.

Coach knows that when the game gets tight, a light switch goes off in my head.

This means a lot. This is my last go-around. I don't want to go out a loser. I want to go to the NCAA tournament. We could be the first UW team to go three times in a row since I don't know when. So this is all stuff I want to be part of.

What makes it hard for us is that we're used to playing a fast-paced game and they're used to slowing it down. When we play each other it's a really awkward game. It's a battle of who imposes their game plan on the other one. They're a tough team to play against. You never look forward to playing them.

There's always a weakness in every team. They have had a lot of games this season where they are down 15 and they come back. That just shows how dominating of a team they are, and it also shows that sometimes they are less focused for 40 minutes. That may

Any time you lose three in row it gets hard to put the game away, so I took it myself to put it away.

It was welcome back, Mike. It's fun having him out there because he stretches out the defense so much.

Right now, we don't have very good chemistry offensively.

They're going to stay packed in and try to force you to make jump shots. That's something we've been working on all week, going against a zone and a sagging man-to-man and making sure we still penetrate and don't just settle for outside shots.

It makes it a lot smoother. At the beginning of the game, it's more my time. Then when Jamaal comes in, I can kind of concentrate on other areas and it's more his time.

I'm just happy we are in the race for the Pac-10 title again.

I was actually frustrated throughout (non-league). I was like, man, I can wait until I can start putting my print on the team.

I don't want to make excuses in the media, but I felt like the guy tapped my elbow. I just tried to flick it up toward the rim to get a foul called but the ref was behind me and didn't see it that good.

I don't think he was sure how we were going to respond to him. He was a little down. He was pretty upset he made that mistake.

He's made me a better player over four seasons. All summer, we played pick-up basketball and we'd match up against one another. When I penetrate to the basket, there are times when he stops me. His ability to guard big men and small guys definitely helps.

He allows his players to play in up-tempo situations, and he's cool off the court. The team's game is up, and he makes basketball look fun.

It wasn't a big deal for me. It was a good game. I'm just happy we played a great game.

Lately a lot of people have been giving me respect. You know when they don't give it to me, I just use it as motivation. Now that they're saying I'm the most complete player, I have to look for other motivation.

I guess that's because I can do a number of things. I can penetrate, I can shoot the three-ball and I can pass the ball off. I just have to make plays to let my team be effective.

The refs could have called a foul every time down the court on both teams.

(Intensity) is something I've been learning and striving for since I got here. Coach is always on me about my intensity level. He told me I was talented but I had to pick up my intensity level. In the past, I would often defer. This season I wasn't allowed to do that. He had to stay on me to make sure I bring it every night. Now I'm seeing that all the hard work paid off. Playing hard all the time can be rewarded.

We've got a lot of experience. When I was a sophomore, we were just excited to be there. Last year, being a one-seed, we just wanted to live up to expectations. Last year we had huge confidence because teams didn't know how quick we were or how fast we were going to play.

We can't give up hope. I've started off 0-5, so it doesn't get any worse than that. Five-and-four is not bad at all. We just have to keep scrapping and keep fighting and know that if we win this game we've got two games at home and chance to go to 7-4. The future is still bright for us.

We just totally turned the page on that Thursday game. It was important not to come in here and worry about making shots, and we did a good job of that.

Practices are like they were in January. He's definitely stepped it up a lot more. We're not going to the tournament just happy to be there. We're past that level.

To me, I'm just really happy we played a great game and picked up a big sweep down here on the road. Right now we're just playing really good basketball.
