Just to see what he thought, but I understand that things could change. I'm trying to learn a new role right now, so that's my focus.

It's probably the most nervous I've ever been on a baseball field in God knows how long.
It was a little tougher getting there because I didn't feel as sharp command wise. But I felt that I did a good job in big situations and made a quality pitch and the defense was there behind me. It was one of those that just seemed to happen.
It's probably the most nervous I've been on a baseball field. My knees were knocking a little bit out there. I had no idea what I was doing out there. But it was easier to focus on what I needed to do mechanically. I had enough time in the bullpen (20 pitches) to warm up.
It's tough to remind myself that it's still early, especially days like that where it wasn't sharp command-wise by any means. I felt like I did a good job making pitches when I had to get out of jams. That's what I'm going to focus on right now, getting that mental aspect back.
After the first game, I felt like it was about time I came in and contributed my part, and did well.
My dad also was born on May 5.
If I'm still here in this locker room, it's fine with me. I'll wash the towels, I don't care. I'm at that point now. No more Triple-A Charlotte for me, please.
I'm fine, no problem with that. If I have time to ready and get comfortable, I have no problem with that. My arm is not used to getting up and sitting down. Other than that, it felt normal.
I know him a little bit, and he seemed like a calm, level-headed kid. I was kind of surprised when I saw that. I understand letting your emotions getting the best of you, but I don't know what the rationale is about throwing a bat near or at an umpire, or anywhere on the field for that matter.
