I feel like clemency was designed for people like me. I pose a minimal risk to the community.
I sort of fell in with the wrong crowd. Things started getting twisted, and instead of facing my drug problem, I made excuses and justified getting away with it because I was maintaining a job and family.
I think to come out of here, you have to have a positive attitude. I've had remained discipline-free for two years to get this job.
Clemency is a hope. But it's not the only hope I'm counting on.
