Overall, today was a good day for UNLV vs. some great competition. We also saw some things we need to work on and we look forward to the rest of the weekend.

I would pretty much say we played the whole 40 minutes. For the most part it was a solid game for us. Air Force is the top of the league right now, so hopefully we can take this win and give us some confidence on the road at San Diego State and UNLV.

It really helps to have teammates like Katie who can hit from the outside, because it takes pressure off the posts and doesn't let people double-team us as much. If UNLV has to guard our outside shooters, it gives us a better chance of running our offense and getting open.

There have been ups and downs. But I think I made the right choice by coming to UNLV. It has been a good experience. I know it's almost over, but I try not to think about it. It makes me sad, and that's why I really want a successful year.

They are some awesome players. Unfortunately, we don't have them here with the Trojans, but I wish them the best of luck throughout their season at UNLV. I know for a fact they're going to make things happen there.

It was good to get out there and prove we could get the job done, ... ... I was pleased about how things went when it was a close game. We need to look at what went wrong and prepare for UNLV (Sept. 24 at Romney Stadium).

Writing in 120 degree temperatures in the garage that became their rehearsal room provided a suitably intense hot-housing effect. And when they couldn't get into the garage they'd use Ronnie's spymaster knowledge to gain mid-night access to the facilities available at his University's music school. There was about 2000 sq ft of luxurious practice space complete with drum sets, marimbas, cymbals, pianos etc So, for about a month or two we lugged a Marshall to sing out of, a Deville to play the axe through, a Bassman for the keyboard, a bass cabinet for Mark and I used the UNLV pep drum band set, ... He wanted it so much and was going to really extraordinary lengths to show it.

I never saw this coming at all. I was just hoping we'd both get the chance to play (Division I baseball). But I never thought we'd be part of UNLV against UNR. But it's awesome. And now we are pretty guaranteed to play each other one series a year at least.
