That's always a big part of playoff hockey. We had a two-on-one on the second shift of the game and we didn't get a shot on goal. In this kind of hockey you have to capitalize on opportunities. When you don't take advantage, one goal makes a big difference in a game like this.
We've been getting some two-on-one chances or breakaways, but we're not taking the shots. We're shooting too much from the sides. Any goalie in the NHL is good enough to stop those.
Turning the ball over and over again like that, you can't beat anybody. A lot of times we had chances. Two-on-one, the basic stuff, and we just turned the ball over.
They play with each other pretty well. The press has bothered us all year, and we were able to capitalize on their press. The two big girls (Williams and Hurt) had them two-on-one and were able to convert. That was very pleasing to see.
