Toasters was a really interesting experience for me because it did take a lot out of me. It was wonderful, certainly very liberating, and I loved it.
People are buying things they believe are essentially investments. They are buying homes and cars instead of buying jeans, shoes and toasters.
Long lives aren't natural. We forget that senior citizens are as much an invention as toasters or penicillin.
I'm quitting the business today. I'm going to open up an appliance store, I've always really been into toasters. I'm giving it all up.
