If we line up right, don't jump offsides, get people in the right place, we can compete with just about everyone, ... They have more coming back in the trenches, but we have a lot of kids who can make big plays. Skill-wise I think we're as good as them.

    Every team we're going to play is going to be a better team skill-wise than us. But that's OK. That's OK. It shouldn't alarm anybody. It's just that you've got to (play simple against) other teams to beat them. We have to play the consummate team game to beat them.

    The great thing about Bryan is just his desire to win. Skill-wise, he's an above-average talented player. But he just wants to win. He plays hard every day. He works hard at practice every day. In that way, he leads by example on how things should be done at practice. He's always getting dirty, always diving, having a good time. And he's got a real passion for it. He loves being out here.

    We have the best team that we have ever had athletically, fundamentally and skill-wise. Now it is just making sure we are mentally prepared. The girls have to know that they belong, that they can play at the next level.




    Skill-wise, he hasn't done anything spectacular this year from the previous year because the skills were there. Right now, it's just his focus and determination to carry this team and show them the way it needs to be done that's impressive.
