    Obviously, gaining public acceptance is going to be a huge issue, especially when you talk about reintroducing predators. There are going to have to be some major attitude shifts. That includes realizing predation is a natural role, and that people are going to have to take precautions.

    These are very encouraging figures but we must not be complacent. We must make sure that future agricultural and aquaculture practices protect rather than impact on wild salmon stocks, and we need to fund further research into predation and general marine survival.

    Wolf proponents expound that more cattle and sheep die of disease, or from coyote or dog predation than they do from wolves, ... I don't know what I'm missing but that doesn't sound like a good argument to add wolves into the mix to me.
