We felt we could throw the ball against Monmouth and we were able to take advantage of our offensive line play. It all comes down to the guys up front. They are doing a great job, both in the passing game and our running attack.

Congratulations to Courtney - I think it's just terrific that she has a chance to get the record. I know it's a cliche, but I'm just really glad I got to play at Monmouth College, and I'm glad that women are still going after those records there.

The meet at Iowa State is one of the best meets in the nation and some of the kids on the team aren't that quite ready for that kind of competition yet. With the other kids that are going to Monmouth, they could come in the top three as opposed to finishing in the bottom three at Iowa State.
