    You can win games against a team that's not at the level of Marist, but it's not like this. This is as good as it gets. I told the guys to enjoy this one tonight and we'll worry about Washington on Thursday.

    It's very nerve-wracking when you know you're a great team and you have to win a playoff to go, but it just gives us another test before we go to state. I love having a home game in the playoffs. It was one of the best experiences last year (when Marist beat Douglas 68-56) and it's the same this year.


    When the schedule came out this spring, we knew we were playing Marist and St. Joseph back-to-back. I told the team it would be 27 hours of basketball from 6 p. m. until 9 p. m. Saturday.
