and Maurice Wells will get some opportunities. And both Shaun Lane and Erik Haw have shown us that they've got some ability as well. So how many will we play, I couldn't promise you. I would say three or more.
I enjoyed the Hee Haw people, but from 1980 on I didn't enjoy it and thought about leavin', and thought, hell, it's an easy job and pays wonderful. I kinda just prostituted myself for their money.
I thought (Haw) did a pretty good job, ... It was good to see him. You can never have enough tailbacks, that's a truism.
Hee Haw was probably my biggest exposure to live music at a young age, because there wasn't any live music around my town and no one in my family played instruments.
I just always remembered that, not that it pushed me to be a singer, but I don't know why he said that. Hee Haw was a big part of my life, musically.
