Quotes about caron (14 Quotes)

Like teammate Caron Butler a year ago, he seems destined to finish third in Rookie of the Year voting despite impressive stats. Through Monday, he ranked third among rookies in scoring (16.2 points), third in field-goal percentage (45.3), third in steals (1.28) and fourth in assists (4.4). More impressive, he's done it while learning to play point guard. With a lighting-quick first step, Wade can get in the lane against anybody, and his jump shot has been solid so far. He's the best rookie I've every played with, ... He just makes plays. He's not getting a lot of hype right now, but people are going to find out about Mr. Wade.

We have more interchangeable parts than we did last year. We just have to get all of these interchangeable parts playing together and cooperating with each other. I've been out for a while. Caron missed a couple of games, Antonio missed some games as well as Jarvis, so we just have to get everyone back in the mix and we'll be fine.

We lost him a few times in transition. Once he got hot, he knocked down a couple shots and it helped his confidence. Both he and Caron stepped up at the right time to help their team win.

Whenever you come back from an injury like that, it takes time to get your rhythm back. The only thing I tell Caron is, 'Keep taking open shots. Don't turn down shots.' Sometimes he has a tendency to do that, to put his head down. I hate when he does that. He needs to keep shooting.

When you've got Gilbert, Caron and myself knocking down jumpers and then you have to worry about Daniels, it opens things up. He's really flourishing in an important stretch for this team. It's good to see him getting back to doing things he's been doing his whole career.

Today there was a collective effort. We are riding the momentum that we started three games ago. Caron did a really good job defensively. He is really embracing the role that we assigned him as the defensive captain, and we are just riding a wave right now.

From Caron Butler - and there's no validation this automatically has to happen - to Ben Gordon, it looks like Rudy is starting to make the move to where we think he can be. He is going to get there, there's no question. It's just that every kid gets there at different times.

Gilbert, Caron and myself have got it going offensively. We know that night in and night out that we can do it offensively, it's just that on the defensive end we have to really give the effort 100 percent and really make it tough on our opponents. Once we do that, we really put ourselves in position to win games.

I saw the game on TV when they played here, and Caron played really well that game. He almost stole the game. I wanted to give him a game before we go to the break and thought that was the right game to put him out there.

The 'Medium' 3-D episode provides a great way for fans to enjoy a heightened perspective of Allison's intriguing visions, ... We're thrilled to partner with TV Guide on this exciting event and thank Glenn Gordon Caron for developing the idea

I think in his second year with us, Caron started to realize in January just how good he could be with a lot of pushing and prodding. Ben was the same way. I think Rudy (Gay) is starting to understand some of the great gifts that he has and he's starting to showcase them a lot more and just becoming a better player.

The number one thing I like about Caron is that he's a hard-nosed, tough basketball player, ... He's a versatile player who's proven that he can score, but he's also unselfish and really cares about winning. Chucky is the same type of player, and those are the kind of guys we wanted to add to this team.

Gilbert carried us tonight. One of the coaches compared this lineup with Philadelphia's a few years ago - (Allen) Iverson and eight defensive players. That's what it seemed like tonight. Caron carried some of the weight and Daniels hit some big shots, but (Arenas) was the steady scorer.
