Connecticut fans are the best, especially here in Bridgeport. When we were here two years ago, we had unbelievable fan support and it's just the most unbelievable atmosphere to play as a college athlete. The fans are great.
Bridgeport came to play and we thought we were just going to walk out on the floor and win. We just didn't come to play.
Within a few years, everything around Bridgeport Village will have been redeveloped. Some of that has been stalled for now because land prices are just too high, but there's no doubt it will eventually happen.
It's so great to have the contract done early so I can begin playing for Bridgeport. The Islanders have been so good to me since the draft, staying on top of my development in Erie and getting this deal done. I'm anxious to get on the ice with the Sound Tigers and show them what I can do.

We feel fortunate to get out of here with a victory. It feels like a loss though because we didn't deserve to win and Bridgeport did.
Right after World War II my grandfather, Gus Anderson, started this company because he felt there was a need for this kind of manufacturing and that there were a lot of companies to play off of, especially in Bridgeport. My grandfather met Igor Sikorsky a long time ago and got the idea that Sikorsky Aircraft would be a great place to do business.
