    This is special because it's my alma mater and being to be a part and have that success here. We didn't get here because I'm a genius. This is a players' accomplishment and a testament to the kids we've had play here.

    I never once had a conversation with the A.D. at Missouri. But it gets reported that way and it just gets blown up and goes from there. There was no contact on my part with Indiana. Obviously that's my alma mater, and if they wanted to talk I would have at least listened out of my respect for my alma mater.

    Now after everything is said and done, I miss the high school that was supposed to be my alma mater. I'm afraid to get my class ring, because we might just move back again and I'd be stuck.

    San Diego isn't a hard place to want to go to school. It's a good school. Their basketball program has been down lately, but eight years ago they were a top 25 team. Their coach left to go coach her alma mater at Ohio State. I guess she decided she liked the weather better in San Diego and now she's back.
