I think he brought in some things for them offensively that Ainge couldn't do and made some plays when he needed to. We didn't make any.

We had a hard time managing Ainge, he set up a lot of people. He was probably the difference in the game.
I'm really pleased that Erik Ainge as the starter is taking the reps. He's never had that opportunity. He's playing at a much better tempo.
David has done a good job correcting some of the fundamental things (with Ainge). Erik looks like he's more comfortable in the huddle. His game management has improved. He looks like a veteran quarterback.
It definitely didn't come from out of the blue. Danny (Ainge, the Celtics' vice president of basketball operations) and I have been talking about finding a spot for Marcus for a while.
I told our guys I wanted them to do two things play hard and be tough. We've had a tendency to let people get after us on the road but tonight we answered. As a coaching staff, we challenged Jimmy to play hard and he responded. I thought Austin Ainge also came in and got us going after we got off to a rough start. In order for us to be successful, we need Jimmy and others to be consistent like he was tonight.
That's a priority, getting on the same page, and one of those ways to help that is to go ahead and make a decision at quarterback and stay with Erik Ainge. That is what we're going to do.
We optimize the business to give Danny Ainge, the Celtics executive director of basketball operations as much money as possible to go spend on players -- the more money we make, the more he has to spend.
