Small businesses are the drivers of the U. S. economy. Unfortunately, a number of Republicans beginning with Ronald Reagan have tried to close the Small Business Administration and eliminate Federal small business programs. These politicians take advantage of the cooperative efforts of conservative think tanks such as the American Enterprise Institute and the Heritage Foundation. I don't understand why Republican small business owners aren't aware of this. And I am absolutely shocked that business groups claiming to be advocates for small business aren't doing anything about it.
More Quotes from Lloyd Chapman:
I think that minority business owners should be up in arms over this. The government has never hit the 5 minority business contracting goal and now they're recommending eliminating the minimal opportunities that minorities have in doing business with the Federal government. It's unconscionable.Lloyd Chapman

Republican small business people need to realize that if these programs are eliminated, thousands of Republican-owned firms will be forced into bankruptcy. Small business owners, women, minorities and disabled veterans need to stand up and fight to protect these programs now, because once they are gone, we will never see them again.

Small business owners need to get on the phone or on the Internet and let their Congressional delegates know that they don't want the government to eliminate Federal programs for small business. Once these programs are gone, we will never get them back.

These lawsuits are a waste of taxpayer dollars.

Basically, this is another example of a large company using a subsidiary to masquerade as a small business. I wouldn't be surprised if this leads to a domino effect. I've already turned in two other companies for the same claims.
