She asked the children,
“what do the flowers and the birds
have in common?”
a question for a lesson
in the answer from one of them.
“They all trust in God.”
A perfect answer,
the words of the scripture
the prophet and the savior
come to life in her faith.
We too soon forget,
become jaded by the world
not trusting that God will provide.
Come to me as a child
our savior would call.
Believe so you may see.
Trust in God
for He will provide.
