The Martyr Poets-did not tell-
But wrought their Pang in syllable-
That when their mortal name be numb-
Their mortal fate-encourage Some-
The Martyr Painters-never spoke-
Bequeathing-rather-to their Work-
That when their conscious fingers cease-
Some seek in Art-the Art of Peace-
