The flowers of the morning
rose hyacinth, tulips, daffodils,
narcissus, in the garden
sudden illumined
washed, from a distance
alive in holy light
Fleeting light
reflected for a moment
the sunlight hitting
the windows across the street
refracted, streaming
landing on this piece of earth
