Fearing the guards, the judgment
the authorities, in the Temple
denying his shepherd, his master,
the humble Messiah
Accused, condemned
He denied Him,
“I do not know him”
the rock,
denying the cornerstone
perhaps for a purpose,
the epiphany of recognition
of what he had done
