We didn't get everything we wanted to out of our qualifying run. The Klein ToolsJim Beam car definitely had a little bit too much understeer and that cost us. It's so competitive out here that you've got to gamble a little bit, but we have a relatively good race car, so hopefully we'll get a good result.

Scott and I already were talking that we want to make a big impact next year. That's a goal. I had a lot of success this season, and I'm looking to do the same (in '06). It will be a very exciting season in general. There will be a lot of competitive cars, so we'll have to be on top of our game.

It's large coming back here to drive as a champion although I was at the Speedway as a spectator for the Formula One race in June. This is the best track in the world, bar none and, as the season is winding down, there's not much chance to get into the car so I like that,
