Sarah Lowe Quotes (29 Quotes)

It's easy to get fired up for the big-time teams where you're clearly an underdog. We came out flat against teams we were supposed to beat and paid for it. I think we've gotten confidence from our big wins and learned from our ugly losses.

We beat two potential No. 1 seeds, and beat Tennessee on their home floor. That's huge. That was something we definitely focused on. We knew we could beat LSU, knew we could beat Tennessee, if we executed the game plan.

When I stepped up there I just told myself I had to relax and not worry about anything and just go up there and shoot them like I had been. There wasn't a doubt in my mind I was going to make it. I walked up there like it was just shooting a free throw at

I think realistically our goal is to finish .500 (in the conference). At the same moment, I don't think there's a doubt in anyone's mind we can run the table in the rest of these games. Even though we play LSU and Tennessee, just watching film on them, th

We pressed Tennessee for 45 minutes. That time it worked. Sometimes it hasn't worked. But if we force a lot of turnovers, we are usually successful.

The end is becoming a lot more real. It's one loss and your season is over. That puts a little fire in your butt. It's scary, but at the same time it's very exciting.

I don't really know if I'll be able to sleep tonight. I'll be honest. This is awesome for the program and awesome for the senior class. We beat a top-five team.

It's been a remarkable year for us. It hasn't been perfect. But it's at the point now where I wish I had another year so I could make it as positive and as energetic as it has been this year.

We were in the game. It was just a matter of closing it out. Twenty-thousand people out there didn't want us to win the game.

Rebounding is still something we need to focus on and improve on. More than anything, it's just that continual focus of boxing out.

You can't really hang your head. The games are coming so quick and they all matter.

It was fun to watch where we were going and not if we were going.

(Sunday) was amazing. We upset LSU, but in contrast to that victory, there were about 20,000 people in the arena (Sunday) essentially cheering against you. ... It was my first time (beating Tennessee) and only the second time in program history. So you can imagine what that felt like for all of us. We beat two potential (NCAA) No.1 seeds, and we beat Tennessee on their home floor. That's huge. Not a lot of teams can say that.

Tonight sucked. Tonight was awful, to be honest.

We haven't had all the hype and we haven't had the McDonald's All-Americans and the All-Americans. But we have 12 people who have really played for each other day in and day out, and I think that is what has made us so successful and has put us in position to win games like LSU and Tennessee.

I know there was no doubt in my mind that I was going to make it. I just walked up there like it was just shooting a free throw in practice.

We'll be coming. We live and die by our press.

This is the best team I've played on. Mississippi State, although their record may not show it, they're a very talented team but still a team we should beat. I think this year we're definitely in position to make some noise at this tournament.
