I would welcome more flexibility from Tehran in connection with the well-known Russian proposal on joint uranium enrichment, and not place bets on the demonstration of some new types of weapons.
This decision seems to be counterproductive.
The Russian-Iranian basic agreement to establish a joint venture on uranium enrichment on Russian territory is a positive but not final step in the solution to Iran's nuclear program. This agreement is just part of the solution to the problem, which Russia is trying to find. Russia is moving in the right direction.
There are no grounds for anyone, including Russia, to defend Iran's position. We should discuss an appropriate plan of coordinated action for the international community.
I strongly disagree with the statement and I am surprised that such words came out of Ukrainian foreign minister's mouth.
