    Chan Ho threw well. He did a really nice job for us. I'll let you know Sunday when he'll make his start, but he'll be out there sometime on this trip.

    It was a tough day for our pitchers. Our young kids made a lot of mistakes. We made errors, missed cutoff men. It was pretty ugly.

    When you had the kind of injury Mike had, he's going to have flashbacks and you're going to have to deal with things.

    He was a real shot in the arm when we brought him up. He's done some damage with the bat, with extra-base hits, and he's played nice outfield. He's a good athlete. He's a guy who plays both sides of the ball well. The job that he did when we brought him up, I think, was the reason why we did want him on this roster. It gives us more flexibility against left-handed pitching.

    He's done a terrific job for us and it has nothing to do with the game last night, and he's well aware of it. It's difficult to sit Olivo, because he has played well, but we know how good Ramon is, too.

    This is a black eye for baseball, no question. It would be nice to get rid of it and move on.

    I certainly enjoyed having Grady here on the staff. He was a big help to me. I'm glad he got another opportunity to manage.
