    Based on what my conversation was last night, right now, he can pinch-run and might be able to hit. If that's the case and he can get the treatment that he needs, then we'll continue it out there. But obviously if it's of a level higher than that, we'll pull him.

    That's what's required of them. That's what a No. 1 and a No. 2 guy's job is, to lead a staff. And we have full confidence in them.

    I could see it was bothering him so it doesn't make sense to push it. Hopefully, it's no more than a small episode.

    I'm very proud of his accomplishments. For a guy that wasn't even expected to have an impact on this roster, to finish second ... it's a great accomplishment.
