To coach the Rookie of the Year in back-to-back seasons is a tremendous honor and says a lot about our program and where we're headed. These individual accomplishments cannot take place without the success and hard work of her teammates.

    We received a tremendous response to the show last year and are excited for season two. Fans will enjoy watching the growth of our players, on and off the court, as we progress through the season.

    These kids have shown time in and time out that they belong here. From the moment they stepped on campus they have shown they had a big picture, one goal. And they're one step from achieving that goal.

    Kristi was hitting. It was back and forth with her and Kim. I thought they both stepped up with a lot of confidence.

    It's definitely a new environment. You've got to get used to the background and I think a lot of time there is an advantage with the team who played the night before. It's just great to be able to get that first game under our belt. It's nice to get those jitters out.

    What makes this team so special is the fact that they don't take any of it for granted. They understand the big picture. There is no guarantee for us next year. They understand that.
